Nothing But Braun, Brewers, and Bruises.

In sports, we see some crazy things happen. Saturday night in Milwaukee we saw just that, something crazy. As the famed “juicer” Ryan Braun was warming up to get on the on deck circle, he abruptly decided he was going to swing his bat before leaving the dugout and clocked his teammate Jean Segura right in the face.
Let’s be honest here people. Braun can’t control stuff like this from happening, after all the guy missed 65 games last season from supposable use of steroids. The urge to swing that bat must be killing him that he cannot wait to step up to the plate and smack the cover off the ball.

As for Segura, according to team manager Ron Roenicke, he suffered nothing severe as to a concussion or anything. But I’m sure he’s going to have a good size bruise on his noggin’. But hey, could be worse. Just ask Delino DeShields Jr., who took a fastball to the face last week. #nopainnogain #nosoap

Voldemort is as Weird as we Thought

Adam "Voldemort" Silver is a weird looking guy.  There is no arguing that.  But so was my high school valedictorian and he was pretty smart.  However, as you'll see in this video, he has the same level of social skill as my high school valedictorian.  That is to say that he would do well in a fifth grade classroom.  Having said all of that, I don't hate him as much as I hate David Stern... yet.  As Montana would say, "The jury is still out."

P.S. Sorry I couldn't embed it.  It's not on youtube and as we know, ESPN is mass media and is therefore out to ruin all of our lives.

Yasiel Puig and his journey from Cuba

As much as I hate to link to another sports site because, frankly what more do you want that The Reach doesn't, that is besides actual college graduates, and paid writers with resources to follow through on actual, real stories, I'm going to link to another sports site anyway.

I encourage all of our readers to check out the story on Yasiel Puig's escape from Cuba by Scott Eden of ESPN. It's an insane adventure and a damn good piece of writing. Puig is basically the definition of a badass who truly DGAF, and will earn your respect in some way after this.

Seth Rogen Just Won the Internet. Again.

Famous for movies such as Knocked Up, Pinneapple Express and his most recent piece of art This is the End, Seth Rogen has won over the hearts of people all over the world. Its amazing how this one individual can bring a smile to people's faces in this cruel world we live in time after time. Seth puts forth the effort like other top actors in Hollywood. How So? Well the once very overweight actor shredded 30 pounds in a short 9 months for the role of a lifetime in the action packed Green Hornet Movie.

This is very similar to the dedication that Matthew McConaughey demonstrated for his role in Dallas Buyers Club, and hey look how that turned out for him.
Rogen put his brilliant acting talents into this wonderful ESPN promo video, which included that guy from the always cherished High School Musical Trilogy (Zac Efron), who will also co-star Rogen in the upcoming film Neighbors (link below). In this video another top talent individual in Aaron Rodgers, demonstrates his recent acting talents to the world. Apparently Rodgers is now known for more than making millions of fantasy owners happy with his talents on the football field. His work in the many State Farm Commercials has some people confused to whether he was first a TV star or a top NFL quarterback, just like the ultimate life question many of us have as to what came first, the chicken or the egg? With all that being said, thank you Seth for all that you do, it really does brighten my day to see sports and comedy mix together to bring awareness to your awesomeness. #stay100 #nosoap
