For those who are not race fans, I am sorry. It is finally
time someone posted something about the SPORT, where men turn left for a living
and make more money than you could imagine. Brad Keselowksi, or as some call
him “Bad Brad”, is a champion at the highest level of NASCAR’s farm system of
racing series. Graham Bessinger recently interviewed Keselowski, where they
discussed his racing career. What came from this interview was a quick 9-minute
salute to the top owner in NASCAR, Rick Hendrick. Now I say salute, but it is
actually not that at all. In fact it is more of a bitter thank you.
The reason for this came from the fact that Keselowski was
promised a full time, top-level ride in NASCAR’s elite series in 2010, until
Hendrick decided differently. In 2009, the old veteran Mark Martin drove the 5
car for Hendrick. The plan was a one-year contract, which would give Martin a
last chance at the coveted NASCAR Sprint cup trophy. But after winning the most races
in the 2009 season and finishing 2nd in the points, Hendrick signed
Mark Martin to a longer contract, leaving Brad without a ride.

All I can say is, well done Rick Hendrick. Well done. Instead of putting Brad Kesolowski in your car, who arguably gives Tony Stewart a run for his money in being titled as the ultimate badass in NASCAR, you stuck with the oldest driver in the sport and then later signed the never consistent Kasey Kahne.
Since the betrayal, Keselowski has gone on to
win not only a lower division title in 2010 for Penske Racing, but in 2012 he
beat the greatest driver to ever put on a fire suit in Jimmie Johnson, to claim the
NASCAR Sprint Cup. What has Martin and Kahne done since? Well
Martin has since retired, and Kahne has only won 4 races since taking over the
5 car. Safe to say you made the wrong choice pal, but hey thank you for making
Brad bad. #Deuces #Nosoap
