Wizards Win Game 5. Pacers Lead Series 3-2. Series Headed to DC for Game 6.

With facing a playoff game 5 elimination, the Washington Wizards did what they needed to do Tuesday night. Win. The Wiz beat the Indiana Pacers 102-79 with Wall and Gortat having MONSTER performances. Wall had 27 points and 5 rebounds at the end of the night and Marcin “The Polish Hammer” Gortat, had a game high 31 points, 16 rebounds. Each with their contributions, the Wizards live to fight another day, with game 6 coming to you from the good ol’ District of Columbia.

It almost seems as if someone in the organization got a hold of my article from the other day where I bashed the decision making of John Wall. Wall, Tuesday, took total control of the game dishing the rock where it needed to go at the right time in order to get the team the W. With that being said, Gortat became a dominant threat under the rim, getting the rebounds not only from missed shots by stars such as Hibbert, Hill and George, but also from his own players missed shots, and he finished off in classic hammer fashion.
With the recent successes of the NHL’s New York Rangers coming back from a 3-1 deficit against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Wizards could learn a thing or two from their come from behind heroics. The Wizards need to win at home Thursday and then at Indiana over the weekend in order to advance to the conference finals. Game 6 is Thursday May 15th at 8:00pm. #redwhiteandwiz #nosoap
