It seems EA Sports has wasted no time in preparing for the
upcoming NFL season. Today they have released the trailer for the coveted video
game that celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. Of course I am
talking about Madden.
The trailer shows Carolina Panthers Linebacker Luke Kuechly.
For those of you who don’t know, Kuechly won the defensive player of the year award
last season, so it was a no brainer for EA to have him represent the video game
franchise in their latest ad. But to sum things up, the trailer really doesn’t
show us anything regarding new improvements to the game itself, other than its
stellar graphics.
So the next topic to discuss is who will be on the cover?
Will it be Kuechly? How about his teammate Cam Newton? What about his
ex-teammate Steve Smith? Who knows, but one thing we do know is, is that the
NFL season is a few months away, there is no need to hype up a video game that
will be released at the end of August.
